Again, was asked to write a little something on the
subject for some friends' website (so if I've been a
bit lax here lately, though perhaps it would be nice
to discuss that "Epilogue" to V. at that ...).  "God,
Immortality, Entrails and Mermaids: Gynopiscine
Hybridity and the Contemporary Carnivalesque" be my
working title (they specifically requested something
suitably, baroquely academic, and they knew who to ask
...).  "GIEM," by the way, is a phrase from a letter
from James Whale to Joseph Breen of the infamous
Production Code Administration concerning certain
requests regarding the Bride of Frankenstein
screenplay, see ...
