Pynchon is not a genius yet

I was, as the old man and the sea (Papa) , and one  of those
Dire Straight's songs, at the Lions, dreaming of the lions,
but I was not able to get the letter, I did it and I was
sure I had it here, but maybe it was an into to the HSG, a
story I think Pynchon read and re-read, and I do think it is
a great text,l one we will be reading for quite a while, do
consider the photographs in that novel, not unlike DD, JFK
and so on, 
and well, I am feeling old here, what with Doug comparing
with his oldman...but just for the record, I thin I am one
of the youngest p-listers, just had a child, same age as
Doug's boy when I was but a child is all. Pynchon has
nothing to say about the new, the x and y, Aids, but he has
much to say about fathers and sons, and I, it is become a
difficult life, think I understand M&D best.
