Not really. Kep Lopez offers a copy of V. inscribed to Farina's parents
for $50,000. A full set of Pynchon firsts, inscribed to old friends, was
offered recently for $240,000.
Pynchon is in the same reclusive class as Salinger. A copy of Salinger's
Franny and Zooey, inscribed to a swami, is offered at the moment for
$75,000.
