We have decided that we will read Mason & Dixon beginning September and jbor
has offered to cut it up and manage the sign-up process, etc....

I believe we are finished with V. by the end of July... That leaves August
for COL49. I have the impression that there is not wide spread support for
this, but there are enough of us to have a discussion over those 31 days.

I think we just agree on a method.... Maybe a veteran will offer to do
this... If not, I would suggest we wait until mid/late July and then set it
up. There are roughly five weeks so we could do Chapters 1&2 during week
one, then a chapter a week after. Another way would be to divide the longer
chapters in half... this makes 9 sections of approx. 20 pages. We could
have one every three days, leaving four or five days at the end for 'final'
discussion. For instance:
Aug 1 Chapter 1 Host Name
Aug 4 Chapter 2 Host Name
Aug 7 Chapter 3 pp. 44-64 Host Name
Aug 10 Chapter 3 pp. 65-80 Host Name
Aug 13 Chapter 4 Host Name
Aug 16 Chapter 5 pp. 100-124 Host Name
Aug 19 Chapter 5 pp. 124 -145 Host Name
Aug 21 Chapter 6 pp. 146-165 Host Name
Aug 24 Chapter 6 pp. 166-183 Host Name

I split ch 3 so that "The Courier's Tragedy" was covered in the second part,
ch 5 splits where the pace of events changes... chapter 6 splits when she
has finished talking with Bortz.

There you have my opinion anyway... and I will sign-up/participate when the
thing is decided.

Sam
