Being a newbie, I wonder how you veterans use the good/bad category on TP`s
texts. Strong/weak, beautiful/ugly...? 
Anyway I agree that the article is pretty odd in its allover concept. I also
agree with Dave, that we may find here some of TP`s literary intentions. Due
to my sci-fi addiction, I want to point to the lines about weird cold war
sci-fi, turning luddism as well as the golden-age-hard science-approach of
sci-fi upside down. At least for my limited vision.
The whole thing comes very cool, superbright and all too selfconcious. The
eye in the sky himself is talking. But than, wasn´t that perhaps exactly, what
the New York Times had ordered, and the guru couldn´t keep from rubbing his
superior wisdom up our noses?
