Hola, Otto, et al.  Have been burning through that
Rapaport book, by the way, which is perhaps a bit Lite
in Derrida's defense in somewhat the way Rapaport
claims, so far, Jameson, Graff, Lentricchia, Abrams
(which ought to indicate where I am in the book right
now) are Lite on the offense, but a serviceable
institutional history so far, and Rapaport helpfully
points out, er, points in Derrida and his exegetes
addressing the Usual Complaints (ahistoricism,
apoliticism, interpretive irresponsibility, semiotic
solipsism, et al.).  But, hey, I've got a chapter of
V. to work up for the coming week here, and I'll be
winging it as it is, so ...
