VV(18): Preamble ...

Well, I have the time, I've stockpiled my initial salvo of posts and then 
some, if y'all don't mind, I'm going to go right ahead and start up VV(18), 
Chapter 14, "V. in love" a coupla days early here, esp. as I promised to 
finish up by the end of the forthcoming week so that Herr Foppl (still on 
deck here?  Let me know ...) can host Chapter 15, "Sahha," which had 
initially been unfairly included as a nigh-unto vestigial appendage to its 
predecessor, esp. as I've not nearly the time to devote to thsi that I had 
during my last hosting stint.  Be forewarned, I'm largely taking the 
approach I took with Ch. 7 (a Profanity then vs. a Stencilization now, take 
note), pretty much annotating anything that seems amenable to annotation, by 
whatever means I have at hand, necessary or no.   Annotation, not 
(necessarily) analysis, a la serving suggestion vs. fully cooked meal.  
Tilling the soil in preparation for planting the crops.  Make use of what 
you can, feel free (I know you will) to add in whatever else you think you 
(or anyone else) might need, but keep in mind that I'm pretty much plowing 
through sentence-by-sentence, word-by-word, letter-by-letter, even, so if I 
haven't gotten to something yet, wait 'til I get past it before berating me 
for missing it first.  But I do think what I have so far, and what I plan, 
hope, pray, whatever, to get to, will be suggestive.  Think of it as 
onscreen notetaking, brainstorming, whatever, for an impending term paper or 
somesuch.  Approaches that might or might not be taken.  By anyone, or no 
one.  But largely whatever caught my free-associative fancy.  So, with yr 
kind permission, amblin' away, then ...
