p
this long article by stephen schwartz considers the hypothesis that benjamin
might have dead not by killing himself, but murdered by Soviet agents.
it seems a odd hypothesis, even if schwartz lists many incongrous things in
the version of B.'s deadth commonly known.
Anyway, I just would say that there's a novel by an italian writer, Bruno
Arpaia, which just tells about the last months of B.'s life.
Arpaia's book is a novel, not an historical essay, but the author is an
historian; and in his credits, at the end of the book, he quotes sources he
found in brazil - with bibliographic references - which are not considered
in Schwartz's article.
That' all.
(Sorry for my bad English, ehm.)
