Reminds me, just got some stuff from amazon.co.fr.
I'm not big on the chains, but I was looking for a
Francoise Hardy biography (which I didn't find), and
started checking out the records (Sylvie Vartan,
Michel Polnareff, Nino Ferrer, Marie Laforet). Hit it
just as the exchange rates hit their low foir the past
year. Anyway, they sent along not only a free--and,
surprisingly, decent--"reggae" (actually,
ska/bluebeat/rocksteady, really, but all the better
for it, in my opinion) compilation, but also a tin of
little candies. You don't get that kind of service
stateside ...
