24 July again.

Considering that the daytime temperature the last
couple of days here has been as low as the 50s
(Fahrenheit, of course, in these Non-Metric United
States), it's been more like mid-autumn here.  Of
course, the day I go and buy a jacket 'cos it's so
cold out, I emerge only to find the sun's come out
again and  the temperature is approaching 80.  Best
way to stop the rain here is to buy and umbrella. 
But, as "they" say here in 'Sconsin, "If you don't
like the weather, wait an hour" ...  

Anyway, seeing as we're on the 88th Anniversary of Ch.
14 here, anyone figue out any significance to that
date? Let me know.  In the meantime, a last few notes
to dribble out after having been offline a couple of
days.  I'd hoped that Herr Fopple was going to pick up
on Ch. 15, but ... well, am goping to try to clear the
stage as much as possible before VV(19) kicks in here,
so ...
