...Pynchon's hometown, is apparently in the process of being bought up by
computer software mogul, Charles Wang, according to a front-page Wall Street
Journal story today that, amazingly, does not mention Thomas Pynchon. Go
figure.  Re a point that was discussed quite awhile ago here, the story
mentions that OB is surrounded by communities inhabited by much wealthier
people (than those who live in OB).
