Someplace earlier we read that Pappy came from Chicago and liked to do a
gangster imitation... (Al Capone was a famous Chicago Gangster during the
1920's)

It is worth a mention that Pappy's bunk mate and drinking pal (Fat Clyde) is
also from Chicago, or to be precise, Winnetka.  Winnetka is along the North
Shore of Lake Michigan and actually a bit of a drive north from downtown
Chicago.  It is close to the Great Lakes Naval Training Station where I
assume TRP was stationed for a short time.

Any significance to this... I doubt it...
