NP: Robert Frank, a request

In April there will be a Robert Frank exhibition in Madrid, at the Reina
Sofía, and to celebrate it I am preparing a couple of talks about his
work and its context, photographic, artistic and musical;  I would like
some help on the literary front.  I don't know enough about literature
to establish a connection between Robert Frank and the works of his
time, beyond the obvious relation to Allen Ginsberg, Jack Keruac and
the Beats.  If any of you have any ideas or suggestions I would
appreciate it.
