VV(11): This just in ...

Just to warn you all, I've a couple of troubling, time-consuming,
nigh-unto-gothic madness 'n' death situations ongoing at home.  Both
have come to a head this weekend.  The house has, astoundingly, yet to
develop an ominous fissure running up and down it, but this does mean I
might have an interruption or two for a day or so here.  There will
definitely be one later today as I make an emergency trip which may or
may not last a few days, but I'm going to get up whatever I can in re:
Ch. 8, Sec. i, at least, this morning, and, if worst comes to worst, I
can continue from abroad.  Have my notes somewhere accessible from
anywhere, at least, I'll just have to haul around a few books, is all.
But I'd planned a leisurely pace for this week as it is, four sections
to Chapter 8, one every day or two, with next week to catch up on
whatever's volleyed back, so ...
