Actually, this is a narratorial meditation on a Tarot card reading. I'm not
sure how or whether it is being construed as either plot resolution or
historical fact, but it seems a rather tenuous piece of text to place on the
table and call out "Bridge", if that's what's supposed to be happening.

Btw, I don't recall any mention of Goerge Bush in _Vineland_ either.
