By way--in lieu?--of summation, I'd say that it's
pretty much what I thought it might be when I set out
on it last week, that is, underrated, worthy of far
more commentary than it normally receives, than it's
ever received, that it's chock full o' interesting and
important tropes, themes and characterizations, and
that, as we approach the vertex of the "V-structure"
of V. (the vortex being that period, that full [?]
stop, that singularity, that "Epilogue"), it will, via
how one reads, builds one's "rathouse" of, how one
"stencilizes" that "Stencilization," undoubtedly
prove, as kai is already intimating, pivotal not only
to a reading of the following chapter (Ch. 9,
"Mondaugen's Story"), not only to a reading of the
novel, V., but, perhaps, of that entire Pynchonian
oeuvre ...
