Sounds kinda Ed Gein-ish to my 'Sconsinite ears.  And
thanks, Terrance, for the notes on Nutley, NJ, one of
those things that got lost in the frenzy on my end. 
Again, much of interest set up in that ostensibly
transitional chapter.  But we all build our own
rathouses, we all perform our own stencilizations ...
