VV(11): Fugue Your Buddy

I haven't followed this line completely, but on my second time through V. it seems to me that if I was Profane I might not recognize Rachel at first either.  About the last time he saw her was the scene where he sees her with her car.  He knew Rachel as a fast driving college girl on summer break.  When he sees her in the office, it's been awhile, she's a different person.  And like Judy has already said... he had just been through a lot.  

I wonder if Rachel, when she says "It's about time" (216) believes that he intentionally returned to her.
