You've forgotten the Vietnamese, the "cigarette smugglers" of today... and 
these are not the Vietnamese people the Cap Anamur 20 years ago fished out of 
the ocean...

And, you are right. The citizens of the EU (which includes Italians, 
Portugiese, Greeks...) have more rights than let's say in the 50's. They have 
the freedom of settlement, the freedom of working whereever they find a job, 
and they can vote in regional elections (Kommunalwahlen); nevertheless, all 
this doesn't concern the Turks... and remember, the "double citizenship" 
which the red/green government wanted to introduce especially for the Turks 
was sabotaged by the "Christian" Democrats...
