The Incredible Hulk

Ang Lee's (Eat Drink Man Woman; Sense and Sensibility;
The Ice Storm; Snapping Turtle, Drunken Monkey) next
directorial project is, incredibly, The Incredible
Hulk.  Between that, the Sam Raimi Spider Man, and the
Darren Aronofsky Batman, there might be hope for
comic-book movies yet ...

But Hulk Hogan, Gov. Ventura, Steve "Not the Six
Million Dollar Man" Austin et al. take the "bad" out
of badass, which is NOT to say there's a "good"
involved there.  Can't hold a candle to "Scrap Iron"
Gadasky, Baron von Raschke, The Crusher, Nick
Bockwinkle, The Super Destroyers Mks. I through
whatever, et al., not to mention those Mexican
crimefightin' rasslers (now there's some ass which is
truly bad).  It's just not like when I was a kid
