Blicero's flame

Isn't Weissmann's reading of Rilke at the advent of Nazism
in line with the Nazi Party ideals? His reading changes, but
just for a while there it seems to be in line with his
affiliations with the Nazis. He is attracted by the
exhilarating flame of the Sonnets and he is "inspired by
the flame." But when he realizes that the Reich's flame is
only burning up the "royal moths" he changes his
interpretation again, this time his reading becomes
self-conscious, and this is most unfortunate. The Reich's
flame becomes the "OVEN" and the "00000", doesn't it?
