As with questions regarding hard science, international economics is a very
complex animal. Being an average information-weary denizen of this planet,
a planet where specialities of knowledge are becoming as thin as a R.P.H.
each and every day, I wonder what kind of position I could take regarding
such issues of foreign currency exchange, entropy, what have you, when I am
so unfit, despairingly so, to take any such position. One could read all
one wants, but the truth is the on the street, ignorant and brutal, naive,
and terrifying, and all its dancers on whatever side come out lessened in
this one confused brain of mine. We are all part of the situation, no soap
boxes or moral banners, here.
One wonders everyday about the Situation, and guess what: are we any
different from Mr Stencil Sr., before we all, at some hopefully large amount
of time, get caught by that whirlpool, lamenting the complexity of the world
and maybe, just maybe thankful for the uncertainty?
