LOL.
You support your arguments with bits and pieces of Pynchon's texts cobbled
together from here and there -- and certainly there's nothing wrong with
that, Bible fundamentalists have been doing it for years to support this or
that argument -- and I'll point to the larger movements of story, character,
setting, as long as I have work to do and post from an office where I don't
have the leisure to delve into Pynchon's novels and pluck out quotes.
Neither approach provides a complete view, whatever that might be.
"Jane O' Sweet ":
When I consider how my posts are read
and just how blind in this forest I am of trees
I think to yank the beam from out your eye
and do a Brooklyn Bruiser on your knees
but then I think, ah! what the heck
I think I'll keep my little spec
and bear the blindness of that spot
where only you know what is what
still, this girl's textually supported posts
post over phone lines without rest
who post from Pynchonian texts they serve us best.
They also serve who only stand and wait for Doug.
Miltonically yours,
Sweet Lady Jane
