Why hate saying this, it's important (and I can nothing but agree) because
it makes immediately sense to me when turned upside down:
Every religious bond bears structural similarities with, is in fact S&M,
btw not only in Pynchon's fiction imho, because all of his fiction is
directed at and can be related to the "real" world, the one we are living
in.
