Doesn't grate coz I know it ain't true. Problem is I ditched the evidence 
last year: a reading list for an American studies dept in Santa Clara Uni: 
a local teacher was collecting books to send out - it included the full 
range I had when I did Am Studies: included V and Lot 49 that I remember.

Anyway we aren't going to change each others mind
