NP - Palestinian Moderate Leader's Home Shelled

First I would like to point out that your three questions function to avoid the
main point of the article:  The Israeli army seems to have purposely targeted a
(reportedly - by the NYT) "moderate" Palestinian leader for assasination [or at
least homelessmess ;) ].  Their stated reason, "massive fire from that
direction" is implausilble from the facts reported.  And their claim of
ignorance is not only laughable, but denied by the one directing the fire on
the scene.

As to the relative legitimacy of the PA leadership, this seems a secondary
concern to the basic plight of the people: eternal subjugation to Israel, or
ejection from their lands.
