Coming out of left field, the New York *Daily News* today publishes an editorial
opinion under the headline "Hollywood history." It reads in full:

    Defending Disney's decision to edit "Pearl Harbor" to avoid offending Japan
and Germany, a spokesman said: "It won't make a big difference -- most people
know who won the war."
    Except maybe for one of the Japanese soldiers still hiding out on some
Pacific atoll.
