About anticatholicsm being a strain of Catholicsm, I'm
reminded of what materialist Buck Mulligan sez to Stephen with regard to S's
failure to kneel down and pray if only to huimor his dying mother. "Why?
Because you have the cursed jesuit strain in you, only it's injected the
wrong way."
Stephen's motto wasn't Non creduam, but Non serviam.
