Benny & SHROUD

SHROUD talks, but only to Benny.  And he tells Benny Wisdom.  SHROUD and Benny
together form a psychic tag-team, and SHROUD does all the tagging.  Benny is
the straight man, as are most all _ventriloguists_.

The ventriloquist makes the "dead" seem alive in a way that seems magical, and
scary.  It's not alive, but it speaks.  Does the ventriloquist become a channel
for voices without bodies?  The dummy speaks forth the secret fears and averted
guilts of the audience and the ventriloquist.  SHROUD is thus a spirit
messenger, and Benny is his prophet.
