OK, with what?
I would suggest, most here will agree I'm sure, that
you read it from cover to cover and enjoy it. However it is
that you read a novel, read this one. So, if you read
10 pages before you good to sleep, or two chapters after your morning coffee
while sitting in the white zone unloading, or
if you read novels on the train on the way to and from work...so on.
It is the best novel P has written, if only because it
is very readable. I suspect that if P were to write a novel
like it again, cut it down to 300 odd pages, he might
have a book that sells, but I think he's more interested in
writing what Melville called, books people will not want to read.
But this novel is a book I think lots of people wnat to
read, if they know that it is a novel they can read. It is!
