I think they might have started off with "Dada," which
they then changed to (the obvious wordplay of, given
the preceding "Dog") "Doo-Dah" later, is all. They
later contracted to "Bonzo Dog Band," and are
sometimes refered to as simply "The Bonzos." Just
pointing that out in case anyone goes looking for the
records. That Rhino comp is a good place to start,
however, and there's a great UK box set of sorts as
well. And don't forget Neil Innes' brilliant Rutles
record (as opposed to his rather less brilliant recent
follow-up). Okay, okay, Pynchon, Mason & Dixon ...
