Well, this looks like a dead horse so I'll just beat the Buzzards. 

How does "pickpockets" fit into the sentence? 

They might have been pickpockets as easily...? 

Could be, I guess, but it doesn't sound right to me. 

I guess she could be saying, 

They might have been thieves or pickpockets or queens or bishops for all
I know....

But she also says their was a pair and she says they were turn'd out in
that flash of   Naboblets...

Is she referring to their dress? 

Sounds like she is. Those  Morning Tussah and braided hats.


What are Naboblets? Diminutive Nabobs? Oxymoron? 
Or are these guys Nabobs small of stature? 
I guess that could be it.
