You know, Terrance, I think I agree with you. So far, things have been pretty quiet. It makes me hopeful America isn't gonna be as rash and vengeful as I feared. Then again, I heard today (gosh, maybe even here) that Bush was toying with the idea of bombing an opium-producing plant in Afghanistan because he/They sensed the American people (heck, maybe the people of the world) needed a little entertainment. You know, give the people a little something to wet their appetites for War. I suppose it's the modern-day equivalent to an ancient Roman lion match or a dwarf gang rape (I understand those were big shows back in the day). Yeah, boy, I bet we make them Romans look like a bunch of pussies now, ay!? Heh, heh, heh..
Bush's idea really got me down, though (even though I do my best to keep a sense of humor). But knowing he was doing it for our little benefits, well, that got me even more down. You raise an excellent point, though, Terrance. What have we Americans done to anybody that hasn't been done already? It's all been done before, somewhere in time and space. I'm convinced of that. What of it, though? I'm reading into your posts (and many others like you out in the world), and I think you're trying to cling to that *fact* as justification to continue on your blood-thirsty way. Eye for an Eye. Tit for a Tat. But we all know, Terrance, from way way back in kindergarten, Two Wrongs Don't Make a Right. Maybe all of those questions you're asking are distracting you from the more simple truths of Life. They certainly do make my head spin.
