I wrote this, and I have already been taken to task for it off-list. Justly so.
My off-list answer, in less than perfect English, was: "My postscriptum was not
meant to be taken literally, more like a figurative expression of the helpless
rage I am feeling. Of course, the persons responsible for this act should
neither be assassinated nor tortured. They should be brought before court."
