This is getting tedious. This is the simple history:
1. Tim slammed me for "rarely if ever" "making relevant contributions to
literary discourse." (his last post repeated this charge. And as I said, he
has a habit of jumping in to criticize, but can't take it when the guns are
leveled at him).
2. I countered that the archives belie that charge, and asked him "BTW, how
much Pynchon text have you commented on lately?"
3. You jumped in (before #2, above) with "Inquisitor, query thyself ..."
Plus the slacious "Morris, if any of these people wanted any more lip out of
you, they'd scratch jbor's zipper, okay?"
4. I explained (again) my history here and reasons for keeping out of this
MDDM.
5. You follow with "So which medal are you asking for?"
So there's no winning with you, and so it goes..
