million Afghans in acute need of even a loaf of bread. The World Food
Program has set a target of delivering 52,000 tons of wheat per month into
Afghanistan. But with bombs falling, fewer trucks are entering. This past
week, only 6,000 tons were sent, a dangerous shortfall."
