Pynchon-L doesn't have a moderator. I don't think it needs one. I have
never suggested that we need one. In fact, I have always opposed a
moderated list. 

You couldn't get the list to agree to your persistent requests for a
moderator. You argued that the list discussion deteriorated and was a
waste of time, but you hung around, you said, because you were reading
the posts here for a friend, looking for that diamond in the rough.

few months. 
You were calling for a list moderator just a few months back.
