Huh!?! Like a crappy marriage with the orginal issues lost in
the theater and drama of unending conflict. Speaking of which,
I woke this morning at 3:30 am with NPR insecesently hammering
into my head a one-two punch of reasoned war justification
followed by an emotional appeal to patriotism followed by a
reasoned war justification followed by a . . . Fucking Christ, Shut Up!
There are some lists where the Left-Right dichotomy is being
explored, others where reasons for and against an Afghan war
are given, still others where Anthrax Theatre is deconstructed
and so on. And NO, I'm not going there. I'm staying for the bitter end.
Oh Doug, about all that's going on is that some Afghan antique
Migs were blown up, a few holes punched in some dirt, Omar
killed five yes five-count-em-times and the gunships are moving
in to rip massed troops to shreds with impunity. But they gotta
hurry before the troops surrender due to lack of ammunition,
food, clothing, buildings and so on. Also the US public's
interest is waning fast.
