feeding hungry people

The presentation of news, partial as it is by the inherent inability to
actually report on everything all the time, is never equal to reality,
and so (appropriately) invites speculation. In this blacked-out world
war, speculation (theory) is as valid as government public relations
releases.
Your theoretical headline (below) is not nearly as likely, as the only
anthrax targets in this country have been public figures and we haven't
yet blacked-out news about the crisis in America, but it is likely
enough that consideration of such a likelihood should give the
perpetrators of bio-terrorism pause for consideration, just as the more
likely possibility (theory) of Afghan kids getting killed by mines
should be given consideration as a serious possibility. If it's really
safe, why haven't we heard some explanation about why it is safe in the
face of everything else that we, the public, know about the situation.
BTW, MD (20/20), in your upset with Doug, don't confuse me with him and
I won't confuse you with Dave.

I would say that news isn't a "theory."
Eight Catholic school children in Rochester, New York are dead from
anthrax
poisoning.
