Jesus H. Christ, Doug! Even you can't take this one seriously! I was 
surprised he didn't blame the Lisbon Earthquake, the Mongol invasion, 
the Tunguska meteor and the proliferation of Australian Cane Toads on 
Western Imperialism! (OK, so a case can be made for the Cane Toads.)

Mr. Pilgers' screed is simply so shrill, so narrow-minded, so 
ignorant of any historical or cultural trends except Western 
imperialism, and so filled with misguided self-loathing, I don't even 
think it's worth the effort to tear it apart. I rank it somewhere 
between bin Laden's poisonous statements themselves and that inane 
and pompous piece of shit to flow from Horowitz's unstable pen.

What next? I say we start posting Henry Kissinger and Sayed Qutb and 
let them duke it out. And Jerry Falwell and Ayatollah Khomeini can be 
moderators!
