Jesuit: In the Roman Catholic Church are member of the Society of
Jesus, an order founded by Saint Ignatius of Loyola in 1534.

Jesuit also means, One given to subtle casuistry.

And one can be said to be a tool or an intsrument of the Jesuits (Dixon
mentions this when Mason says the word shit and fears that Dixon will
report him to authorities).

In any event, A young Gallant shows up with a small stringed instrument
(a lute, I read someplace that more music was written for the lute than
any other) and the girls have a little fun with him.

He says he got the instrument from a Jesuit.

(Remember that proper English woman on her way to Bath in Dixon's joke,
what are you looking at?)

Greet says (staring at his crotch I presume), I see the Jesuit part.
Els says, so long as you don't grab it.
