Attack on Pynchon!

It's late, and I don't want to tell you what to think, but I'll give a
little hint:  When Pynchon says our mortal sin was to interdict union and
draw that line, think of a line in the sands of Afghanistan.  And when he
says our enemies and us are caught up in the same fields of shit, think of a
man who's trying to say STOP!
