Bush should admit that Terrorism will not be defeated.

Moreover, a "war" on "terrorism" may be effective against weapons of
mass destruction--the bomb. biological, chemical weapons
production--but it will not address the issues surrounding Islamic
fundamentalism. 


During the past fifty years, the Muslim population has more than doubled
itself, making itself much younger in the process; and as more educated
youth are entering the job market, they quickly develop an acute feeling
of what has come to be known as "relative deprivation" because the
Muslim power elite has almost invariably failed in
solving the problem of a increasingly restive society. What in the West,
is often called Islamic fundamentalism, is Islamic revivalism. It is a
movement of the young, the  educated and the disenchanted.
