This is very vague and I don't think it squares with the facts.
There are five points here and none of them makes much sense to me.
Doug, are you saying this is Osama's view or yours?
Or both yours and his?
If it is your view, tell us, when did the USA support the Taliban?
The USA provided support to the mujahideen ("holy warriors" or "freedom
fighters") groups that formed during the war against the Soviet
occupation of Afghanistan (1979-89). After the withdrawal of Soviet
forces, the Soviet-backed government lost ground to the mujahideen.
There was a civil war. The Taliban came to power in 1996.
Can you tell us when and how the USA supported the Taliban?
