Osama is only one small piece in this very big puzzle.
Here is another piece.

Say Barb, ask your friend Dug if he thinks he is now the manager of the
theatre.
Stage Left: (Dug fanning the air with a copy of GR, the yellow fog of
propaganda creeps across this screen)
Fit the First:
The Economist & the Opening Bell
American must stand tall
American must stand tall
when buildings collapse
through rain, snow, and anthrax
America must stand tall.
"Such a puzzling market!" the Economist cried,
as his studied his charts with care;
"The airlines are all belly up again
while defense stocks are up in the air."
"How did this happen?"
Pondered the Economist
and thought back to those frightening days
when the markets shut down
and opened again
and the whole world watched in a daze.
The bond market players all agreed
not to run up the market to fast
but the traders down in the pits
always knew,
that the downward trend couldn't last.
"Cover your shorts, cover your ass!"
The economist firmly advised,
"the economy is in a recession,
and I've discounted the lack of surpize."
"Get a hard hat and a shovel and dig down deep
the U.S. is in a recession
empty your pockets for the flag and the nation
let's support U.S. aggression."
A fireman with Popeye biceps
nearly broke the stock exchange bell
the market opened up, but by and by
dropped into the depths of hell
One trader in the pits with an arm in a cast
(trampled in the 9-11 stampede)
was beating down the price of Brent crude
single-handedly defending our need.
The Economist studied his charts again,
he recited Reagan's creed,
"trickle, trickle, trickle,
heaven help us in the name of Greed."
"Widows and orphans don't panic and shift
all your money back to the banks,
while your portfolios are nearly worthless," he said,
"America gives you her thanks."
The President's father called his son,
"Carlye is bid no offers.
Divvy out the contracts son,
open America's coffers."
The jobless claims report came out
war doesn't mean work for all
the layoffs were astounding
but America would stand tall.
Stand tall
Stand tall
stand tall
American must stand tall
American must stand tall
when buildings collapse
through rain, snow, and anthrax
America must stand tall.
Markets will rise and fall
buildings will collapse
through rain, and snow, and anthrax
America shall stand tall.
