Lest you think (calling you a fool) I'm giving you short shrift (the
previous
post has already been sent), let me expand. There are no such parallel
circumstances. That your arguments are based on what you imagine is the
problem. DIck Chaney didn't hijack or order the hijacking of planes filled
with civilians to be used as weapons against Cuba. Your example is
hyperbolic and absurd. This was an act of war. You think we should apply
legal nicities. Others disagree. I'm among them. If you want to change my
mind--and whatever you might think, my mind is open--trust that silly
hypotheticals are not going to do the trick.
