Sorry, I didn't mean to imply that your comment was glib, quite the
contrary in fact. 
It's a matter of terms. You use a capital G (GOD) and a lower case g
(god). This works just fine for me. God did not create the universe. God
is absolutely transmundane. 
His nature alien to that of the universe, which he neither created nor
governs, but is the complete and total antithesis. Thus God is not
responsible for sin.
