Now you're being untruthful again, rj/rjackson/jbor/?.  Derek clearly made
the accusation of anti-Semitism before he excoriated your atrocious manners
and left the P-list.  Yes, I reminded you of it later, it's worth keeping
in mind especially for people who are just entering into conversations with
you in this forum. It's all in the archives -- happy to provide the
reference, or would you rather not be embarrassed and just admit the truth,
finally, for once?  Just admit it, rj/rjackson/jbor/? -- you and kai
taunted Derek Maus, a respected member of the academic community, with
anti-Semitic slurs.  It was a nasty thing to do, and you never have
apologized for it.  Even if -- and I don't believe this for a minute --
your comments at the time might have been misunderstood, when it became
clear that you had upset Derek, you might have apologized, but you didn't,
and instead continued to taunt, with help from kai, with what Derek had
clearly objected to as an anti-Semitic slur.  So, perhaps (but I still
don't believe it) you didn't mean it that way at first, but once you knew
he was taking your remarks as anti-Semitic, you might have apologized, that
would have been the civilized thing to do.  But you seemed quite happy to
continue with what had, by that time, clearly been identified as
anti-Semitic slurs by your interlocutor.  You seemed to be having such fun
taunting him, and it gave me the impression that you harbor anti-Semitic
tendencies. Frankly, I think that's one of the most disgraceful things
you've ever done on Pynchon-L, right up there with your relentless taunting
of Terrance, and the way you hounded Charles Hollander -- a respected
Pynchon scholar, published in Pynchon Notes -- out of this forum.

On that other subject so dear to your heart, I have yet to see any
conclusive proof that you haven't been posting under fake names -- do you
plan to provide such evidence?  Nothing's stopping you from setting up
email accounts and using them to bomb the P-list, which I suspect you have
done to buttress your feud with me over the years.  The latest, apparently:
"JEShirk at aol.com" with an email under the topic, "d-list."  Or would that
be your @aol.com buddy, Malign?

Derek in January this year, at which time many other listers told you
that
you were in error. You have repeated that accusation three or four
times
since. It is still false.
