I think this statement should be reconsidered.  The trauma of losing or even
nearly losing property, one's home, one's place of business, or having one's
neighborhood become an unrecognizable toxic waste site, etc., shouldn't be
shrugged off as something that can merely be compensated for by insurance or
government bailouts.  The trauma is inextricably tied to "people and
feelings."  Furthermore, the costs of those payouts adds to the economic
ripple effect, which can also have a devastating effect on "people and
feelings."
