Band of Brothers

You know, I was at the local art museum when, for no
better reason than that I was nearby, from what I can
figure, a woman asked me if I had seen her husband,
Paul Fussell.  As if you can just walk up to anyone
and expect them to recognize Paul Fussell ... but,
then again, she apparently picked the right person,
once clued in.  I fortunately had a copy of The Great
War in Modern Memory at hand (hm, maybe that was the
clue) ...
